Unique Hippo Sculpture Raffle

A unique opportunity to win a one-off sculpture worth £45,000 and raise money for mental health and wellbeing projects.

Launched at the Scottish Parliament with Rotary International President, Gordon McInally, District Governor Narek Bido and a selection of MSPs and Rotarians, the raffle was the brainchild of renowned Scottish sculptor and artist, Mark Stoddart who also happens to be a Rotarian. Mark is a well know philanthropist who is committed to providing support for those with mental health challenges and neurodiversity issues.

At the launch, President Gordon said “it is wonderful to be a part of this launch which will help to create hope for hundreds, if not thousands of people across the world who suffer from neurodiverse conditions. Mark’s generosity is staggering and to donate such a work of art as a prize is a truly amazing act of generosity. We are very grateful for this opportunity to make a difference in peoples’ lives.”

The first prize is an exquisite bronze sculpture by Mark, which would normally be valued in excess of £45,000, but which Mark has donated. There are also two “runner up” prizes of £5k and £1k respectively.
