The circular walk of approximately 10 miles, starting and finishing in Llangollen, is set in one of the most scenic parts of Wales. It encompasses  beautiful views of the  Dee Valley, the Llangollen Canal, including the Pontcysyllte aqueduct, the Vale of Llangollen steam railway,  the ancient castle of Castell Dinas Bran and is set against the spectacular backdrops of the Berwyn Mountains and the beautiful Eglwyseg Escarpment. The walk is of a "moderate" grade and should take a regular walker at least 4½ hours plus breaks. There is an option to shorten the walk by about an hour if so required.

RAISE FUNDS FOR A CHARITY OF YOUR CHOICE
The walk is an opportunity for you to raise money for your own favourite Charity. Simply register for the walk and use the sponsorship form that can be downloaded from this website. Come along on the day at any time between 9.30am and 12:30pm, report to the recorders desk and away you go. 

Registration can be in advance by post or on the day. Details are on the registration form that can be downloded from this page. The start of the walk is close to the town centre at Ysgol Dinas Bran (Dinas Bran School) in Abbey Road, Llangollen, LL20 8TG. On the day we will supply a route map, marshals, and a well earned certificate on completion. Each walker is invited to make a £5 registration donation to The Rotary Club of Erddig Charitable Trust (Charity Reg: 1022939).
