Home | Pedal Push Project
Rotarians from several of the Service Action Groups make up a Project Team whose task is to plan and implement the annual Pedal Push charity ride, normally held in May.
In 2010 the ride was held on
Sunday 16th May, starting again at The Grange, Saunderton.

In 2008 the starting point for the ride was moved to the Saunderton HQ of the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. This was to avoid the traffic congestion in central High Wycombe. The weatherman favoured us at last, and almost 200 riders set out.
In 2007 the weather was dreadful. Many riders who had registered decided to stay at home, and only a small number arrived to register on the day. The back roads and lanes were flooded, and the one-way road system around the construction site of the Eden Project in the centre of High Wycombe confused some returning riders.
Including riders' donations to their charities of choice, the 2006 Ride raised around £8000. In 2007 the expectation was much much less but in the event Pedal Push 2007 resulted in almost £7000 being given to charitable causes. In 2008 the sum approached £6500, and sponsorship money was still being received in December!
In 2009, despite the looming financial crisis, the total is expected to reach £6400.
In the recent event on 16th May 2010, entries were up by 5% & we hope that this is reflected in the sponsorship for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People & Wycombe Winter Night Shelter. The riders enjoyed the event & although the weather was cool, there was little rain.
