At the Business Meeting of the Club the plans for the Club’s assistance in Leyburn’s Christmas celebrations were discussed, as were its publicity arrangements for Polio Plus, the international campaign to eradicate the disease.

A ‘wizard’ evening was held at the club meeting where the guest speaker was Timothy Akers who told of some of his findings using his system MERLINDOWN which he describes as “eyes in the sky deep down underground and down to the bottom of the sea”.
