Charles Clark is the IT expert at North East Sensory Services.
He has been totally blind for many years, but his skill in using, and teaching other folk to use, the computer is truly amazing to witness.

Gary joined our Club a few months ago and will tell us a bit about himself. He will also tell us about the Teenage Cancer Trust, which is dear to his heart at present as his daughter Abigail is receiving treatment for cancer.

Every now and again we have no speaker but set aside a meeting when all we do is eat, drink and chat among ourselves. A great way to share each other's interests and issues - and get to know each other a little better. This will be one such meeting.

Each year, many primary schools in District 1010 participate in a knock-out quiz competition. Our Club organises the preliminary round for the associated primary schools of St Machar Academy. This is that preliminary round for 2016!

The Pokhara region of Nepal was affected severely by an earthquake in April 2015. Vast numbers of houses were flattened. Our Club got a Rotary Foundation Grant to help provide sheltered housing for elderly victims. Bruce will update us.

Myles is a local runner who has set up a charity in Kenya with a Kenyan runner Gideon Gathimba to support young people there living in poor conditions.It is called the Gathimba Edwards Foundation and he is an inspirational young man.

The Gavel Challenge is an annual fun competition among Rotary clubs in our District. Each match normally involves four 'pub' games - just a bit more sophisticated than football's European Nations Cup. This is the first of our Group Stages matches of 2015-
