Participants: Stuart, John W, Peter & Rose Wheeler, Andy, Harry & Roger B.

Seven of us took on the challenge of learning a very fun sport, that of curling, after some initial tuition we spilt into two teams, the blue team being Andy, John & Peter, and the Yellow team, Rose, Stuart, Harry & Roger.

The Blue team soured away to a lead one nil then three nil, but then the yellows took control on some very tight if not pretty ends finally winning six to three.

Much harder to play than one would think, too delicate and the stone would not make it half way, even being encouraged by the brushers, slightly more than too delicate and it seemed to be too heavy and the stone would go sailing past the target area. Good laughs were had, well done Stuart.

I hope that more members and partners will be able to go next time, this is highly recommended by all that went along this time.
