Poole Christmas Parcels Fund & Concert


This is the 79th year that the Poole Christmas Parcels Fund, with volunteer drivers, has delivered parcels (or coal during war years of rationing) to needy people in Poole. The photos show the 2011 Christmas Concert, and parcels collection at the Co-op.

Macdonald-Smith Training Fund at Harbour Challenge


Started with funds raised in memory of Peter Macdonald-Smith, this will enable the Harbour Challenge Outdoor Education Centre in Hamworthy, Poole, to train their young leaders in various sailing, canoeing and other outdoor activities.

"Walk the Twin-Sails Bridge" - the first-ever opportunity to cross the Bridge


Thanks to everyone who "walked the bridge" and received a certificate in exchange for a donation. All the money will go to the Mayor of Poole's Charities and other local charities supported by Rotary.
