Sandy Niven, President 2009/10

Welcome to the Rotary Club of Irvine Seagate home page.

Irvine Seagate is a dual gender club where the emphasis is on service to the community, both local, national and international, driven by a sense of friendship and fellowship generated within the club.  We meet on Monday evenings, and have a full programme of fund raising and social events throughout the year.

Locally we support a wide range of community initiatives, from the primary schools quiz, through the secondary schools public speaking competition, to the annual pensioners’ bus trip. Internationally we engage in many Rotary projects including the campaign to end Polio, Water Aid (providing clean water supplies in developing countries), and disaster relief.

This year we are proud to have one of our members, Andy Slater, as District Governor of our West of Scotland district, and we are organising the annual conference for the 56 clubs in this area.

Rotary is an inclusive organisation that welcomes new members and new initiatives.  If you would like to find out more about Rotary, to help, or consider joining, please contact any of our members.
