Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Newport, Isle of Wight
Newport Rotary Club was granted its charter on 3 November 1923.
We are a friendly, sociable club and the only one on the Island that meets at lunchtime. We have visiting speakers on a range of subjects that have recently included the Island Coastguard, the history of the Coroner Service and the local Padre service that serves the prisons and hospitals.
Visiting Rotarians are always welcome and we are particularly delighted to meet those from the North Island who are here on holiday. Rotarians from around the world also visit us throughout the year and update us on the work of Rotary in their Districts.
We work on a range of projects, as a club, in partnership with the other Island clubs and with our partner contact clubs in Belgium, France and Germany. Full details are contained within this site and can be accessed by using the links on the left hand side of the page.
