Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Dorchester

Meet the Rotary Club of Dorchester

Chartered in 1924 as a club for local Business and Professional men, since 1998 we are a dual gender lunchtime club who meet in Dorchester, the County Town of Dorset.
If you are already a Rotarian planning to visit Dorchester we invite you and your partner to join us at a meeting; ring the Wessex Royale (details top right) to book in for lunch.  Visitors to our club frequently say what a great atmosphere there is at our meetings and how much they enjoy the camaraderie that we share.
If you are visiting our website because you are interested in finding out about joining Rotary then you've come to the right place.  Browse through the pages; if you like what you see we will be pleased to invite you to lunch with us so we can get to know each other.
Being a Rotarian is to enjoy interacting with the community by supporting local projects and also by supporting national and international Rotary projects.  Throughout the year we have a varied programme of social occasions most of them which include partners and there are frequent opportunities to meet Rotarians from other clubs in our district.
If you have recently moved to Dorset, becoming a Rotarian is a great way of meeting new people and making new friends.  If you are simply looking to put something back into the community, you need look no further.   Click  here  to email our club Secretary for further information on becoming a Rotarian.  We look forward to meeting you.
