Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Burton upon Trent

Welcome

We are a local group of about 45 professional and business men and women who meet regularly for friendship, fun and to serve the community.

Our local club is part of a wider movement of 33,000 Rotary clubs with 1.2 million members in more than 200 countries and regions. It is an organisation where any member can visit any club and be sure of a warm welcome. Read more about Rotary, our principles and our work.  click here

In line with our guiding principle, 'Service above Self', every year we raise large sums of money for charity.

Some of the causes we support are small, some large, some local, some international, reflecting the international nature of Rotary itself. Locally our largest ongoing support is for the Donna Louise Children's Hospice, internationally to rid the world of polio.

And we have fun, with frequent events such as conferences, visits and outings, dinners, BBQs, bowls, ten-pin bowling and golf, that involve our partners and friends. Read our diary of weekly meetings, fund-raising and social events using the tabs on the toolbar above.

If you are not yet a Rotarian, but want to serve the community, and would like to know more, do contact us through the tab on the toolbar above. If you have read so far, you must be interested, and we want to meet you.
