The club takes its name from Kimbolton Castle, located in the village of Kimbolton in West Cambridgeshire. Being our titular home we do hold events during the year at the Castle, including our Charter celebrations. The Castle history dates back to Norman times and more details can be found here.

  

The club was Chartered in 1994, and originally had 28 members. Today we have 32 members (2/2010)

There are 8 founder members still with the club. We are happy to report that a number of original members have since rejoined the club. The club operates in an informal style, and many guests have suggested that this is a relaxed and very enjoyable experience, whilst maintaining the objectives of Rotary. 

We pride ourselves on an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere; not only at our weekly club meetings, but also during all the events we support and deliver through the year. Over the years we have developed a series of successful events that support the local community and local charities. We also actively support our District events as well as the designated charities of RIBI on an annual basis.

See the events pages for forthcoming attractions.The biggest event in our calendar is the annual Kimbolton Country Fayre that is held in the Castleand its surrounding grounds. With more than 800 classic cars on view plus a full programme of events for both the main and secondary arenas it is a great day out for all ages. Our club is twinned with Compiegne Sud in France. We have a series of joint events that both clubs share. This has also included work experience in each country for the children of Rotarians.
