The Rotary Club of Congleton Dane received its charter in June 1998.  The club is located in the town of Congleton, Cheshire.

The Rotary Club of Congleton Dane was conceived by the Rotary club of Congleton (our mother club), who recognized the need for a new club which met in the evening to attract people unable to take time out for lunch-time meetings.

Congleton Dane currently has 22 members with an equal number of women & men.

Congleton Dane prides itself on its relaxed style but it shares the Rotary International ideal of putting fun and fellowship at the top of the agenda.

A lively weekly programme has included such events as evening rambles during the summer, BBQs, Scalextric racing cars, Archery lessons, Golf lessons, Quiz & Darts nights & Debates interspersed with a host of fascinating speakers.  There are also opportunities to take part in District events such as the annual Golf competition

The club organises fund-raising activities such as Valentine’s Balls, Casino nights, Fishing competitions, Sponsored walks & canoeing and Discos with a pie & pea supper.

Congleton Dane is a relatively young club and enquiries from potential new members would be very welcome
