We are a group of friends who meet at Michaelson House Hotel, Fairfield Lane, Barrow-in-Furness each Thursday at 7.00 pm.

On at least 2 weeks during the month we have a guest speaker who might be representing a local charity or presenting some general information about something of interest.

We have also been planning some community activities like beach cleans, and organising social events for our members and families with the emphasis on having fun. 

Our club welcomes both women and men as potential members, and we span the range of ages from the twenties through to those who've been around a bit longer!

The club exists to assist the community by giving our time and service where it's needed, be it at home or abroad, and by identifying local, national and international charitable projects that we can raise funds for through our activities - as you may gather we have a great deal of fun whilst doing it.

Our Charter Presentation took place on Thursday 7th May 2009 at the Lisdoonie Hotel Barrow when RIBI President Ian Thomson presented the club charter to founder President Hanna.
