Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Holderness

The Rotary Club of Holderness

The Rotary Club of Holderness was chartered in 1956 and has a membership of 30 Rotarians.

The club offers fun, fellowship and an opportunity to become involved in stimulating humanitarian projects both at home and overseas.  The club supports over twenty projects or charities, including Kids Out, Disability Games, the "Youth Speaks" competition, Aquaboxes, Water Aid and Computers for Cameroon.

The club also supports the Polio Plus campaign which is run by Rotary International in conjunction with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to eradicate this tenacious and debilitating disease from the remaining countries where it is still endemic.

Fundraising and other activities include annual events such as the Craft Fair, Garden Mart and Carol Concert.  The club raised over £13,000 for charitable purposes last year. The club committees also organise - or help to organise - a wide range of other fund-raising and social activities.

If you would like more information, you can either use the "contact form" tab above or ring the Club President, Peter Bonavia, on 01482 840191.
