Important meeting news

The meeting on Tuesday 10th August will be held at the Barceló Hinckley Island Hotel (Watling St, LE10 3JA Hinckley ). On Tuesday 17th August, we will be at the Elm Lea Hotel (Ashby Road, Hinckley, LE10 1SP).

Golf Day

The golf day will be on Wednesday 4th August at Hinckley Golf Club. The profits will go to LOROS. Cost will be £200 for a team of four. This includes an after match dinner where a former Premier League referee will be speaking. Raffle prizes sponsored by Panasonic. More details...

BBQ

The annual BBQ raised a record £2900. A big thank you to Peter and the International Committee for organising this.

Friends of Ashanti Evening

The meeting on 9th March was hosted by the International committee in aid of Friends of Ashanti Ghana. Entertainment was by the splendid Amika Choir from; Leicester. The AMIKA Choir is a diverse group and sings songs from around the world and in many different languages. The evening raised £575.

Supermarket Polio Challenge

A fantastic £544 was raised from bag packing at Tesco on 27th February. Thanks to he people of Hinckley for their generosity. All money raised will go to the 'End Polio Now' campaign.

Easter Egg Challange

The Community Service Committe are running their annual Easter Egg challange to raise funds for local charities. Several establishments in the town and surrounding area are taking part. Each has been a given a giant Easter Egg which will be won by a lucky customer.

Minor Sports

We are through to the next round. This will be against Shepshed at the Station Hotel, Loughborough on Friday 9th April. The event will be r/c cars!
