Welcome to the Rotary Club of Westminster East

 

 

Chartered in 1948, we are a small but friendly group of business and professional men and women from a wide cross section of our community who have a long tradition of "Service Above Self." We meet every Wednesday at 6.15pm for 6.30pm at The Charing Cross Hotel, 3 Strand, London WC2N 5HX. Rotarians and visitors are always welcome! Meal cost is £15.00 

As you will see from our Diary Dates, our weekly programs include speakers that cover all aspects of human activity. We also regularily organise vocational outings within London.

If you would like to learn more about Rotary International or the Westminster East Rotary Club, please look around this website or come to one of our weekly meetings. Any of our members will be happy to tell you how Rotary is changing the lives of people here and around the world.

We look forward to seeing you. We want to share Rotary with new members this year by increasing our membership, and by participating in service projects and activities to improve the quality of life in communities where we live or work. Our Club has a long tradition of giving time and financial resources to our community, as well as to continuing to support important charities and projects, such as The Samaritans, Great Ormand Street Hospital, KidsOut and Pimlico Puffins and of course the "Thanks for Life" campaign of Rotary Foundation to end Polio infections worldwide. 

    

Community Service:   The Kids Day Out will again be organised jointly with Westminster West Rotary Club and benefit children from the Churchill Garden Primary School in Pimlico. Dictionaries for Life will be given this year to 2 schools in our area. We will also this year support the Pimlico Puffins, a swimming club for people with disabilities  Recently we helped our Rotaract Club to collect books for a small school in Rumania and we also participated in the "New Start" project, helping poor children in the Phillipines to get the basic materials they neet for school.
