Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Cardiff East

Welcome

To the Rotary Club of Cardiff East, we meet every Wednesday evening at The New House Country Hotel, Thornhill. Cardiff.
The meetings start at 6.30pm, but our members always look forward to welcoming visitors from 6.00pm onwards in the bar.

The Club itself was formed in 1956 under Charter No 826, it is one of 7 Rotary Clubs in Cardiff and at present we have 33 members.

We celebrated our 50th Anniversary two years ago and the event was held at Cardiff Castle on 26th April.

Our President this year is Philip Nicholls, supporting him are President Elect Frank Callus and President Nominee Malcolm Latham.

We are helping numerous charities this year both at home and abroad, majoring on supporting children and young adults.

Our Club is twinned with The Rotary Club of Schoonhoven in Holland and we visited their Club in 2002 and they came to us in December 2003 and February 2010.

If you would like to visit the Rotary Club of Cardiff East one evening, even if you are not a Rotarian, or just wish to find out more about Rotary in general, please feel free to contact our Secretary Nigel Morris, Telephone, Cardiff  2076 1749.
