About us

Welcome to the Rotary Club of Farnham

Our club is number 166 in the British Isles and was formed in 1924. We have 44 members who live in the Farnham area.  We meet each Thursday at lunchtime in The Bush Hotel, Farnham and we usually have a speaker at three of our meetings every month. The club is part of Rotary International and its main activity is to serve the community by running local events, supporting other organisations and raising funds for local charities and specific international projects or situations. We operate our own charity, the Rotary Club of Farnham Benevolent Fund (Reg no. 200435), which we use as the means of channelling our funds to the other charities and good causes we identify.
If you are a Rotarian visiting the area you will be made welcome at one of our meetings (please contact James Roberts on tel: 01252 711918). If you are interested in joining Rotary, please contact our President for furher information (president@rotaryfarnham.co.uk).

International Projects

In 2016, our club adopted a project to build Polytunnels for the cultivation of food in Kerala India at the location of the Childrens Homes in Kerala State ('CHIKS').  This charity has its roots in Farnham. The project was completed in June 2017. To see the details of the project, click the following file:
