About us

Welcome toThe Rotary Club of Rochford.

Who are are Rochford Rotary ?

We are a friendly club who involve ourselves in projects to help the community

The cornerstone of our activities is to meet weekly for lunch . Our thirty or so members meet  at the Rochford Hundred Golf Club and enjoy the excellent food on offer. Formal business is discussed, often accompanied by lively banter . We also invite speakers from our local community to come along and tell us about about their organisations and activities.

Over the years we have raised well over £200,000 mainly for local good causes as well as international aid.

We currently run two very sucessful fund raising events each year.

A charity golf day in the summer and Christmas collections at local stores.

Our Santa with his sleigh and his happy band of snowmen have become a traditional feature around the streets of Rochford, Hockley, Ashingdon and Canewdon.

We run other events such as charity quiz nights and enjoy social  evenings  with our partners at local restaurants.

Regular visits are made to our friends at our twin Rotary Club  in Monterau,  France.

Underlying  the activities  undertaken by members  is a great sense of fun and  fellowship.
