Welcome to the Rotary Club of Dinas Powys  

The Rotary Club of Dinas Powys was established in 1988, and has the over-riding objective to “serve others before self”. We are a vibrant, diverse, and friendly group of individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. 

So what is the Rotary Club of Dinas Powys all about - well quite simply we volunteer our time and resources to deliver a variety of fund raising events, as well as working with other local organisations for the benefit of the communities of Dinas Powys, Sully, and Penarth.

 Dinas Powys Foodbank

 Kids Day Out - for disabled children

So you’ll see that we endeavour to play a role in supporting individuals and families within our locality – meaning our efforts will be visible on your doorstep. 

Our members predominantly reside within these communities, and yet through all our activities we have fun and enjoy ourselves – and are always looking to include families, and friends.  

As a non-political, non-sectarian, multicultural all-inclusive organisation, we offer an opportunity for you to contribute to your local community, and make a real difference.

By joining us you’ll extend your circle of connections, and with our programme of social events, we hope you’ll encourage your family (and friends) to participate. These events are always a great opportunity to properly let our hair down.

We currently meet on alternate Thursday evenings at Dinas Powis Golf Club, at 7.30 pm for informal dining and fellowship, often supplemented with a variety of interesting speakers eg RNLI, Trinity House, WRU, Air Ambulance, Police Service, and many others.
