International
Rotary is an International organisation and there are several initiatives that Danetre support. Details of these and other International Projects RCODD have been involved with can be found here.
Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland are partners of Shelter Box.
ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity established in 2000 in Helston, Cornwall, UK, that provides emergency shelter and other aid items to families around the world who have lost their homes to disaster or conflict.
Today, and in the past, the Rotary Club of Danetre Daventry have donated to Shelterbox. Today's donation is for a complete Shelterbox to be shipped to Nepal following the recent disaster.
