Charity Fun Run in Lydiard Park

Hi All

Many thanks once more for supporting us with last year's inaugural event in aid of Wiltshire Air Ambulance, thanks to your support we were able to present a cheque for a fantastic £2,000, and as promised we are back for 2015.

This year we are fundraising for the Brighter Futures Swindon Radiotherapy Appeal which needs to raise an enormous £3 million to purchase 2 linear accelerators which will be installed in Swindon. This will remove the requirement for those needing treatment to have to make the current journey to Oxford at a time when they are at their most vulnerable.

This year we are once again offering a choice of 5K or 10K around the circuit at Lydiard Park

Plus for the1st time we are also hosting a fancy dress Monster March of 3K as we are so close to Halloween thought it would add a fun element for younger entrants but this is also open to all.

We have taken onboard suggestions made from the feedback last year and one of the amendments is that the event will start at 10:00am as opposed to 11:00am
