Parkhill Primary School provided the winning team at this year’s Rotary Club quiz for Levenmouth’s primary schools held in Levenmouth Academy on Monday 25th February 2019. Nine school teams competed in this quiz and it was close competition . In second place was last years winners Kirkton of Largo and in 3rd Place was Mountfleurie Primary School.
Leven Rotary’s President, Scott Dryburgh, presented the winning team with the Centenary Trophy and shields to the individual team members. All children taking part received a certificate from the Rotary Club.
In a packed hall, the teams were well supported by cheering teachers, parents, friends and fellow pupils.
Parkhill Primary team will now go on to an area final competing against winning teams from other parts of Fife and Kinross. This will be hosted by the Dalgety Bay Rotary Club.
Another win there would give Parkhill Primary the chance to move on to the North and East of Scotland final in May.
