Young people open our minds

6th July 2015

Pupils from our three local senior schools discuss topics of their choice at this first partners and guest evening of the new Rotary year

Six young speakers from Calthorpe Park, Court Moor and St Nicholas' schools addressed members of Fleet and Rushmoor Rotary Clubs on the demanding topics of "What is Britishness?",  "The effects of social media on the lives of young people", and "The vulnerability of being a teenager in Fleet".  This was an excellent opportunity for youngsters to practise public speaking and answer questions in a challenging environment. These young people displayed obvious confidence and competence and the evening was both interesting entertaining
