This years Walk will take place on Saturday 22nd June 2013.
The Rotary Clubs of Newtown, Llanidloes and Machynlleth are pleased to announce that applications forms are now available for the 2013 Rotary Across Wales Walk which will take place on June 22nd. There is already considerable interest with applications being received from groups in Newcastle Emlyn and Bracknell. The full walk is 42 miles, but it is possible to walk 26 miles, 16 or even the short 8 mile stretch. Starting at Glandyfi and ending at the Anchor, just over the border in Shropshire, the walk really crosses Wales. It is a great opportunity to enjoy some of the most magnificent scenery that Wales has to offer, to get fit and healthy and also to raise money for your favourite charities.
The walk organisers will support 3 charities this year; they are Arthritis Research UK, Powys Dyslexic Support Group and Macmillan Nursing (Montgomeryshire Branch)
The 2012 Walk raised £25,000 for Charity.
