Inverclyde Elderly Forum Neil McFadden

Thu, Jan 4th 2007 at 12:00 am - 2:00 am

Nel McFadden what a lady. She was in the depths of depression 18 years ago and her doctor told her to go out and do some community work. Well you don't tell Nan that and expect nothing to happen. That chance remark has led to Nel being a leading light in The Elderly forum and being awarded an MBE. Nel has her own problems but she takes on board the problems of all the elderly and fights their corner. One of the things she campainged for was free bus passes for the over 60's. She has campaigned from here to the House of Parliament in London. No cause for the elderly is too small to which Nel will devotes all energies . Well done Nel you are a star!
