Employment Law Consultant Ian Meth

Employment law is a minefield and Ian gave us an overview of some of the pitfalls that may be encountered if you are empolying people today. After his talk it is surprising that anyone would actually want to employ people! However it is a fact of life that people must be employed. The difficulty is that the leglislation has become so invloved that an expert is really neede to guide you along the way. Emloyees must have rights and protection but what the law seems to have missed is that the employer must be protected as well. It only takes one bad apple on either side to make life miserable for all around them. Our thanks must go to Ian for making what is basically a dry subject lively and interesting.
