The Rotary Club of Fleet is delighted to support the Band’s annual concert on Saturday evening, 22 May 2010 at the Church on the Heath at Elvetham Heath.

Stop Press: Over £1220.00 raised on the night for NEHASB!

The doors opened at 7.30pm for a prompt 8.00pm start of a varied programme of music by the Schools band under the directorship of Simon Wyld and the Training band led by assistant director, Wendy Brett.

The concert featured both bands with two solo performances demonstrating the wide range of talent and skill that has taken the band to the finals of the National Youth Orchestra competition in recent years.

Tickets were £10 for adults and £5 for senior citizens and students and were are available from Rotarian Malcolm Inglis on 01252 615916, W C Baker and Son and from the Friends of the Band. Refreshments were available during the interval.

All proceeds from the event were donated to the North East Hants Area Schools’ Band.
