(Sat) Presidential Handover from Chris Dear to Liz Jones

At Liz Jones' House


This took the form of a Barbeque at Liz Jones' House. All I can say is if you weren't there then you missed a cracking do on Saturday.

The Handover to Liz took place amongst glorious weather and was followed by excellent food (who said BBQ's are boring - and as promised this one wasn't) cooked by the 3 amigos - Malcolm (Jones), Keith and Pete. Who were almost on time but only fashionably late.

Amongst a few members of Phoenix the day was supported by fellow rotarians from Enfield, Chelmsford, Rivermead and Burnham ( I have probably forgotten someone).

During the afternoon/evening we had music from Jonesy (Malcolm's son) and later in the evening there was some dubious Karaoke including yours truly.

We held a raffle which raised
