Pick-a-Fence Horse Trials

Our 'Pick a Fence' cross country event, held on 19/9/10 at the Aitken Walker Livery Centre, raised £2,200 for The BGH Kidney Dialysis Unit.


An exciting new venture for Duns Rotary Club, our first Pick-A-Fence Horse Trials, organised with the support of South Lammermuir Riding Club and of other Hawick, Kelso and Lauder Rotary Clubs, took place on Sunday, 19th September 2010 at the Duns Livery Cross-country course, Berwick Road, Duns, by kind permission of Graham and Louise Aitken-Walker.

Organiser, Grant Stephen, said 'we are delighted that the event attracted 103 horses and that so many sponsors and helpers came forward to make the day a success. We are indebted to all who assisted in any way. To raise
