Partners are invited to this meeting.

Kate and Satish spoke to us about their recent visit to Uganda, to take part in the 3rd Ugandan Medical Mission. Volunteers from around the world join up with local health care professionals to provide a ten day clinic in the town of Jinja, to reach those who would normally not have access to such services. The missions four aims are:
1. To provide a range of medical care to those who can not afford it.
2. To not turn any patient away.
3. To provide free medication to those who need it.
4. To foster relationships between local healthcare workers and the volunteers.
In its first year 7,000 patients were seen, 13,000 in the second and this year 14,000 were seen. Services offered included medical, ophthalmic, dental and pharmacy.
