Bodmin Rotary Golf Day - 4th May 2012

in aid of Cornwall Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association

The day was a huge success. Fine weather heralded a great day of golf enjoyed by 176 golfers playing in 44 teams. The Main sponsors, West End Motors (Bodmin) Ltd and Mid Cornwall Brokers were well supported by a host of other business which helped to ensure the success of the day which has raised (subject to a few outstanding items of expenditure) approximately £6000 +

The event was started by the local MP Dan Rogerson, and the prizes in the evening were presented by His Worship the Mayor of Bodmin, Ralph Solomons.

Local Rotarians and volunteers from the Cornwall Branch of MNDA provided outstanding service throughout the day. Well done and a heartfelt thanks. Our most successful Golf Day to date.

Bruce Tyzzer, Chair Community/Vocational Committee
