Windsor Walk

Staines to Windsor on a wet Sunday

A modest band of club members and some partners gathered at the station in Egham as the rain started to fall.

It was a river bank walk with some unexpected twists and turns. Zoe was narrowly saved from stepping into the river by Treover and our leader and his companion at that point took a wrong turn leaving the rest of us to follow the right path - allowing them to catch up while we had a coffee stop.

Our valient leader and the afore mentioned Zoe nothing dauted decided to do the return leg on foot for even more sponsorship while the rest of ust found a congenial pub for a late lunch.
