CHURCH & OSWALDTWISTLE ROTARY CLUB'S 60th CHARTER NIGHT

Charter celebrations were hugely successful, thanks to the hard work of the Club's Charter Committee and the team of staff from the Stirk House Hotel & Restaurant, Nr Gisburn.

Great food, good fellowship and superb entertainment was enjoyed by 115 Rotarians and guests who attended, which included the Mayor of Hyndburn, Malcolm Pritchard, District Governor Albert Johnson, and five local Presidents from District 1190.

Wonderful entertainment was provided throughout the night by the Mark Lewis Quartet and guest singer Lynne Fairbanks; with dancing until the late hours of the evening.

Several people suggested it was the best Charter Dinner they has attended for some time. This may have been due, in part at least, to the speeches being kept to a minimum, with only two in total, from President Mohammed Aslam and District Governor Albert Johnson.

We hope you all enjoyed the night.
