A traditional English game (the ancestor of 10 pin bowling) in a traditional English pub. An evening of fun and fellowship open to members, partners, friends, prospective members.
The supper menu included:
- Fish & Chips
- Oxford& Sausage & Mash
- Nut Roast (veggie option).
The rules of Skittles game are well known, however, the organisers reserved the right to amend them according to their wishes.
The participants included Rotarians, wives of Rotarians, friends of the club. We had 4 teams of 6.
The winning team included Martin and Pam Whitfield, Peter and val Gresty, Tyrell Gilman and Cecil Wiggs. The prize for the best player/highest score was won by Tyrell Gilman. The wooden spoon (the prize for the lowest number of hits) was won by Angela Dike.
