On 2nd February Bryony Pritchard came down from the London headquarters of Oxfam to talk about their worldwide operations.

Bryony is working as a Fundraising Assistant for London and the South East.

Huge relief operations are ongoing in such place as Haiti and Pakistan. In Pakistan more lives have been lost after the floods due to lack of drinking water and the spread of disease.

Bryony`s role includes working with local communities to raise awareness of Oxfam`s work, encourage the formation of community fundraising groups and to support existing groups throughout their events.

Oxfam employ 7000 people throughout the world but their administration costs are only 11 pence in the pound.
