Special Assembly at Hyde Heath Infants School

The New Generations team were invited to attend Hyde Heath Infants School on 12th July for a special ‘purple pinkie’ assembly.

The Parents' Association and the children raised money by baking and selling cakes and the proceeds were donated to the Polio appeal.

Pat Armstrong, Anthony Merrett and David Bevan were delighted to be able to accept a cheque for £150.00 and to hear that we will be receiving a further £60 from money raised by the children that day by dressing in mufti, and wearing purple.  Some of the youngsters were so enthusiastic they had coloured their hair purple.

A fantastic effort by such a small school.
