The New Year's Day Walk is at 11am (12 noon for non-walkers) - meet for walk with lunch at The White Horse Inn Thornton.

There's no obligation to walk - joining us just for lunch is quite acceptable! We visit the White Horse on Hill Top Road at Thornton and - weather permitting - it will provide us with the fresh air and sort of views we will no doubt appreciate on New Year's Day. There is an interesting choice of food, and friends and family are welcome. The walk is about 3 miles (80 minutes or so) on roads rather than paths in view of possible weather conditions. Walkers please meet at the pub car park at 11am and non-walkers can arrive after 12 noon for coffee at the pub. Lunch is booked for 1.30pm. The telephone number is 01274 834268.
