Details of further documents relating to the History of the Rotary Club of Newcastle upon Tyne


Over the years, several documents, booklets and pictutes, dating back to the foundation of our Club in 1815, have been lodged with Tyne & Wear Archives.

These are available to be viewed by any member of the public.

Tyne & Wear Archives are stored in the Discovery Museum premises in Blandford Street, Newcastle upon Tyne. The reference number for the files relating to the Rotary Club of Newcastle upon Tyne held in the search room of the archives department is S.ROT1. A catalogue is available online

For anyone wishing to consult these archives, information is available on the Tyne and Wear Archives website. Readers ticket, which is required to access the archives may be obtained in the search room on the production of suitable proof of identity, such as a drivers licence.
