St Andrews Celebrations 2008

What a great evening

Fraserburgh Leisure Centre was a perfect venue for over 70 who attended the Rotary of Club of Fraserburgh's annual formal evening. The St Andrews Dinner has been a regular in the Rotary calendar for many years and this year was yet another great success. Dr Steve Crockett was the keynote speaker and as usual has the company in stitches -not medical ones of course . The Glee Club from Rotary Club of Inverurie followed with a delightful medley of songs, jokes poems and singalong numbers. Rotary President Robin Mackinlay was delighted that so many were able to come and enjoy a celebration of our own, but not exclusively our our own, Saint.

St Andrew is also the Saint for Russia, Sicily, Greece, Romania, Amalfi, Luqa (Malta) and Prussia; Army Rangers, mariners, fishermen, fishmongers, rope-makers, singers and performers.) Mind you its a good excuse to get all dressed up and enjoy a night out.
