Mar 2012 Charitable presentations and Club Business meeting

Presentations by and to the charities chosen to benefit from the funds raised by our Christmas Car Parking preceded the review of club projects and activities and consideration of agenda items at the recent Rotary District Council Meeting.


Last night at The Rotary Club`s weekly dinner at The University Arms Hotel representatives, from the nominated local Charities, were invited to receive their cheques from the funds raised during the Clubs Christmas City Centre Car Parking - courtesy of the University.

Cheques to three University charities were given out in February 2012.

Fund Raising and Charitable Donations 2007 - 2012

back Car Parking Dec 2011 - Jan 2012 raised £19,349 and continues the pattern of increasing our receipts and donations over recent years, in Dec 2013 we raised £32,000 over 13 days.
