East Keswick and the outskirts of Scarcroft and Bardsey. Walk Leader - Julian Smith

A group of 10 met in the car park of the Duke of Wellington pub/restaurant in East Keswick for the usual refreshments before embarking on a 7 mile walk at 10:30am which encompassed East Keswick and the outskirts of Scarcroft and Bardsey.

Most of the walk was on low terrain, with some parts quite muddy. the weather was dry but overcast and misty, so views were at a premium.

The walk was completed on time for the scheduled lunch at 1:30pm at the Wellington - as usual fish and chips was a popular choice. There was a good choice of beers, including "Journeyman" made by a micro brewery in Collingham. The party broke up at 3pm.
