Dr Humera Hasan is a local General Practioner. She has been in the UK for 6 years, first in London and the last 3 years in Liverpool. She keeps her maiden name for business reasons. Humera is married to Sameer Khan and they have two children aged 13 and 11.
Her Aunt in Manchester is a Rotarian so Humera wants to put something back into the community by joining Rotary.
Sameer is requalifying here as a Solicitor and is at present working as a Benefits Officer for the Government. His Father was a Rotarian in Pakistan and presented land and a building to Rotary for a school for underprivileged children.
With both their respective Rotary backgrounds they are a valuable addition to the Rotary Club of Liverpool Garston.
