The fellowship committee looks after the social side of the Rotary Club by organizing events for both members and guests.
During the spring/summer months, we try to talke advantage of the ligghter evenings and have a number of enjoyable trips out to local attractions or activities.
These have included a trip to the Orme Mines and taking to the racetrack at Cerrig-y-Drudion. Dressed to the part and in go-carts that achieved speeds of up to 60km per hour results were slightly mixed. The racers split into two distinctive groups, those who knew what they were doing and hurtling round like Jenson Button and the rest of us trying (in some cases not very successfully) to keep the carts on the track. With no major injuries or Red Flags we moved to a local hostelry to dine. No one has admitted to getting a speeding ticked on the return journey!
