ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE

Programme to include:
The continued maintenance of Rotary Way and the Fairy Steps.
The planting of additional bulbs and wild flowers around the bypass and Rotary Way.
Identifying a number of sites for tree planting with, hopefully, help from the Woodland Trust in supplying trees.
Continuing to support the bicycle collection and refurbishment scheme.
River bank cleaning coupled with regular litter picking.
Surveying the seats around the town, suggesting additions and helping with maintenance issues.
Keeping the Sanctuary Way Walk in good condition.

Crocus Bulb Planting - 14 November 2013
more Ripon Rotary Club members were joined by students and staff from Ripon Cathedral Primary School on Rotary Way to replant Crocus bulbs in the Ripon Horn Display.
