From President Jim

Dear All,

It was great to see such a good turnout on Tuesday night - most encouraging.

We do not meet again until 16th August when  Past President John's daughter-in-law, Madonna, is our speaker on the topic 'Exotic Pets!!' As she is vet, this should lend to some interesting tales. Please remember that all friends and visitors are welcome to every meeting and we should make a point of asking anyone who might enjoy the programme.

'Volunteers' have been received in respect of this year's committee convenors and various functions.

We are planning an interesting and varied programme and already have a number of speakers and events pencilled in. However, last year's format where members where possible either procured a speaker or gave a short talk seemed to work very well and we would like to repeat this process for this year.  We are still looking for a volunteer to help out with the speaker programme. If you are able to assist, please let Andrew or me know.

Thank you all again for your support on Tuesday, It was greatly appreciated. I look forward to seeing everyone in August.

Yours in Rotary

Jim
