Community Service

Details on the Community Service Committee

The Community Service Committee concentrates on local issues and assists local causes.

Community service is the traditional and well-known face of Rotary. It covers help and advice to the aged, the handicapped, the infirm, young people and all those in need, either directly or through local charitable organisations. Environmental projects are also part of community service.

Stroke Awareness Day

Each year Bangor Rotary Club takes part in the National Stroke Awareness Day offering blood pressure checks and stroke awareness advice to the local community.
