Fellowship

Rotary is not just about doing good deeds but also about enjoying yourself and this committee organises social activities. This page contains an archive of some of our activities.

As regards the programme for Fellowship, I once again make no apologies for repeating some of the programme from previous years.

Possibilities visits, subject to member’s mobility
Drax Power Station, maybe with another group
British Library – Thorpe Arch
Wyedean Weaving Co – makers of military uniforms
Exhibitions at Bradford Industrial Museum
A follow up visit round the Odeon re-development to see the work that has been done, if this is possible. Alan Morrell making enquires
We would look at re-starting the visits to the Ilkley Playhouse and one of following - the Grand, the Alhambra or Leeds Playhouse.

The Hello/Goodbye will take place at Robert and Hilary’s on 10 July.

East Riddlesden Hall will host the performance of “Romeo and Juliet” by the Lord Chamberlain’s Men on 16 August and hopefully, as in previous years, we can get a group to attend.

District Conference will be held at Scarborough on Saturday 8 October and we currently have 4 couples booked in at The Central Hotel for the weekend.

I hope we can hold our annual Christmas party – volunteers to host required.

I am very mindful that the number of fellowship events have been limited over the past 3 years, but I hope this year we can at least restart the Theatre visits and maybe some outside visits.
