Andrea's aims for 2012
Andrea's aims for 2012
-
As a priority this year we will endeavour to extend our membership from the current 16 to 18 by publicising our activities wherever possible and developing our links with our very successful “Friends of Rotary” group.
-
Being a small breakfast club, our fundraising and survival is often dependant upon these extra pairs of hands, an example being the Christmas collection. Hopefully we may gain a few new members from ‘the friends’ as the year progresses.
-
On the 5th Wednesday of the month, we will continue with our alternative “evening” meetings with the opportunity to attract a broader range of outside speakers and a wider audience of friends and visitors who may well be members of the future.
-
We will also look to build on our now regular features in the local press as a means of making the community more aware of the South Sefton Club’s activities in particular and of the Rotary movement in general, particularly in relation to the Polio Plus campaign. Through our contact with local schools we will continue to raise awareness of the opportunities for young people within Rotary.
